Thailand

Thailand is located in Southeastern Asia, bordering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand, southeast of Burma, with a central plain, the Khorat Plateau in the east, and mountains elsewhere. The climate is tropical with a rainy southwest monsoon from mid-May to September and a dry, cool northeast monsoon from November to mid-March, while the southern isthmus remains hot and humid year-round. Bangkok serves as the capital, and Thailand has a population of approximately 70.03 million people who primarily speak Thai.

Thailand has an upper middle-income Southeast Asian economy with substantial infrastructure and is a major exporter of electronics, food, and automobile parts. Key industries include tourism, textiles and garments, agricultural processing, electronics, automobiles and automotive parts, petrochemicals, petroleum refining, and pharmaceuticals. The country is rich in natural resources such as tin, rubber, natural gas, tungsten, tantalum, timber, lead, fish, gypsum, lignite, fluorite, and arable land. Thailand has extremely low unemployment and is pursuing its Thailand 4.0 economic development initiative.
