About Czech Republic

Czechia, also known as the Czech Republic, is a landlocked country located in Central Europe, bordered by Germany, Poland, Austria, and Slovakia, covering an area of approximately 78,866 square kilometers. As of 2025, Czechia has a population of over 10.7 million, with Czech as the official language. The country features diverse geography including the Bohemian Massif, Moravian plains, and the Sudetes and Carpathian mountains, with a temperate continental climate. Prague serves as the capital.

Czechia has a developed, high-income economy with key industries including automobile manufacturing, machinery, electronics, and beer production. The country is home to some of the world’s leading automotive brands and has a strong industrial tradition. Czechia has one of the lowest unemployment rates in the European Union and continues to attract foreign investment, particularly in manufacturing and technology.
