Cambodia is a country located in Southeast Asia, bordered by Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and the Gulf of Thailand, covering an area of approximately 181,035 square kilometers. As of 2025, Cambodia has a population of over 17 million, with Khmer as the official language. The country features the Tonle Sap lake and Mekong River delta, with plains and the Cardamom Mountains in the southwest, experiencing a tropical monsoon climate. Phnom Penh serves as the capital.
