Bermuda

Bermuda is a British Overseas Territory located in the North Atlantic Ocean, approximately 1,000 kilometers east of the United States, covering an area of just 54 square kilometers. As of 2025, Bermuda has a population of over 63,000, with English as the official language. The archipelago features low-lying hills with coral and limestone terrain, experiencing a subtropical climate moderated by the Gulf Stream. Hamilton serves as the capital.

Bermuda has one of the highest GDP per capita in the world, driven primarily by international financial services, insurance, and reinsurance. The territory is a major global reinsurance hub, attracting leading companies with its regulatory framework and tax structure. Tourism also plays a significant role, with visitors drawn to the islands’ pink sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and British colonial heritage.
